During this time of COVID-19 it is entirely normal to have many strong emotions, ranging from sadness and anxiety to frustration and anger. However, there may be a point at which it might be a good idea to reach out for help. The following assessment will help you do just that. It is not intended to diagnose. Rather, it is a means to determine if you are in distress, and if this distress warrants some kind of help. Don’t worry, it’s not a ‘quiz’ and you won’t be graded on it.
Here’s how it works: there are ten questions and you click on one of five responses for each question. That’s it! Then you’ll see at the bottom to see if 1) you are not in current need of help, but it might be helpful to browse the Toolkit for ways to deal with COVID-19 or; 2) you might benefit from reaching out for help and resources; or 3) it is probably a good idea to reach out for help right now – and we’ll link to resources that are available 24/7 so you can get the support you need.
Are you ready? Here we go!
